TechStrat advises Decisive Data in acquisition by Calligo

We are pleased to announce the sale of our client Decisive Data, Inc., located in Redmond, WA, To Calligo Cloud, a UK company with its headquarters in Jersey, Channel Islands.  Decisive Data is a leader in data visualization, serving blue chip customers including Microsoft and T-Mobile.  Calligo, a managed data services company serving customers around the world, will leverage Decisive’s team and skills as the core of its Insights team.  TechStrat worked closely on this transaction with Chi-Dooh “Skip” Li, a partner at the Seattle law firm of Ellis Li McKinstry.  It is fitting that Skip led the legal work on this cross-border transaction.  50 years ago, as a 23 year old law graduate who had resided in the US for 8 years,  Skip argued before the Supreme Court of Washington State against a rule that denied admission to the bar to non-US citizens – and won.  We are humbled to be on his team for this transaction.
